- Introducing Treetop Traversal, a game concept level where you could take the role of either a Heavy lumberjack or a Light scout and use your individual qualities to help your teammates progress, all while competing against an opposite team attempting to accomplish the same goal: to get to the top of the tree.
-------
- I designed this project for my Portfolio Development class. Our portfolio mentors assigned us personalized, week-long art tests based on our primary skills as designers. I was given a level design art test in which I had to implement precise criteria to manage a player's progression throughout a 3D space. But not just one player's progression, not two, but four separate players.
- The map had to fit the concept for a 2v2 game, incorporating foreshadowing, replayability, engaging mechanics, intrinsic and explicit level design, and pacing in a way that feels organic and fair for both teams. Ultimately, this project highlights applying environmental models and blueprinting while showcasing implicit/explicit gameplay implementation.
