Developer of Chiaroscuro: A 2D Adventure Platformer (GMS)

- Chiaroscuro is a 2D adventure platformer with metroidvania elements. Explore a world that has fallen into darkness and discover the Lights to illuminate your forgotten past. In a world where 95% of the population has suddenly forgotten pieces of their past, take the role of Rose, a mysterious amnesiac and go on an adventure to seek out the Lights: magical objects that have been rumored to restore the memories of those who find them. Rose is not the only one seeking out these powerful Lights. Using quick and responsive combat, battle your way through dangerous situations by swinging your trusty thorn and casting a multitude of elemental spells.

- Chiaroscuro has been a solo project of mine since January 2020. I launched the project on Kickstarter and showcased a demo in October 2020, where the game's community successfully raised over $17,000 to initiate its production. Since then, I have started my own game studio, Blackberry Studio, where I have worked full-time designing this project while pursuing a college degree. This project highlights my production, coding, 2d art, animation, and game design skills and showcases reception to community feedback.
